"This App Knows More About Your Phone Than You Do"

The first one is that you can hit the back button without looking at your phone. You should be pretty familiar with the position of this button, which is the most used in Android, and for the default red software button. It's centered in the in-call screen, hard to guess where exactly it is without looking at the phone. Another shining point, hanging up with Back Key Ends Call is really fast! Most of the users have experienced a way faster call termination on their phones compared to the speed of the default software button.
And it's worth pointing out that most people are used to the old non-touchscreen phones, which had dedicated end call buttons. However, Android is not designed to have such button, some of them are hitting the back button expecting to hang up, but instead of terminating the call Android takes them to the home screen with the call still active, really confusing. Back Key Ends Call handles that gracefully.
This app also have additional features that can be executed at the end of the call. The most useful one is to lock the screen on end of call, which is really useful if you would like to put your phone really fast in your pocket without worrying that you have not locked the phone. Also, you can set the app to navigate you to the Home screen of Android after the call is terminated, it's useful if you don't want to see the Call Log screen every time you end a call.

Are you annoyed when you try to hang up with the back button and instead of hanging up, Android takes you the previous screen and the call in still active!? Now that is handled by Back Key Ends Call app!
It's that simple! Right after installation everything is set up and ready to go - the next time you call someone, all you have to do is press the back button and the phone will hang up.
Anyway, have in mind that if you press Android back key when the screen is off, nothing will happen, and this is expected behaviour as, for instance, you could hit the back key by accident when phone is close to your face.
The back button will end call only when you are on call screen, because you should be able to use back button to navigate back from any other screen.
Some other great features inside:
✓ Setting to lock the screen when you end call, even if you hang up without this app.
✓ Vibrate phone when you end call with back key (great for accessibility).
✓ Silent mode - no reminders are shown in Android status bar or any other notifications (only available in Pro version).

Suprised me Sep 23, 2012
My phones a bit slow, so sometimes my end call button is slow and the other person has hung up already so I end up starting a new call instead. Not any more. It ends the call definitely, cleanly and even if you've navigated away from the call dialogue
