Paper Camera, as its name means, is a new type of camera app which can help you take photos in painting style. You can view the world through original, stylish and captivating lens.
The camera is very easy to use and it can help you take cartoon photos with different effects such as cartoon/sketch/comic book/half tone/noir/neon and many other painted effects. You can really turn your photo album into a carton gallery. What's more, the camera using is in real time without any boring post-effects.
You can just take photos with the new photo effects or view the world through special lens for fun. Adjustments as lightness, contrast, and lines are all available before taking photos, so you can make your "painting picture" more customizable. After taking photos, you can save it in your album or share it with others via the networks.

● I’ve purchased the App, but I can’t download it.
Please check that you have good Internet connectivity and retry. If the problem persists, please contact us and we will provide a solution.
● I have a Samsung device, and the gallery doesn’t open sometimes.
Please allow a couple of seconds after taking a picture before clicking the gallery button, on Samsung devices the gallery can’t be open while running the media scanner.
● Why do you require the NFC and INTERNET permissions?
NFC is required to support Android Beam and INTERNET is required for the Facebook, Twitter and YouTube integration.
VIDEO FAQ:
● How can I play Paper Camera videos on my PC?
Using any WebM player. We recommend Firefox or Chrome, however you might be able to use Windows Media Player or Internet Explorer if you install the right plugins.
● I can't play Paper Camera videos on my standard device gallery.
You require Android 4.0 or higher for this to work, on older versions you can use the in-app video player.
● I can't record video with Paper Camera on my new device, why?
We've only enabled this feature on devices that we know can support it properly. However you can still try using unofficial video recording support.
● How do I enable unofficial video recording support?
In the settings menu. Let us know if this works properly on your device and we will officially enable it in future versions. Please note that you will have to be running Android 2.3.3 and have support for NEON instructions for this to work at all.
● I've unlocked unofficial video support but I cannot playback my videos in Paper Camera, why?
This is a known limitation on some devices, there are 3 workarounds for this:
- You can playback videos on your PC.
- You can use MX Video Player, if you enable software mode.
- Hopefully when your device will receive a 4.0 upgrade this issue will be fixed.

Ever since I've been using smart phones, I've never paid for an app. I was skeptical at first but I decided to go ahead and try it. The promotional video looked rather inticing. It was definitely money well spent. Nothing but total fun. I'd refer it for anybody.

Just need a better UI. It would be nice to be able to be able to take a picture by touching anywhere on tge screen(like camera zoom fx). Awesomeness!

Great application, I recommend it to everybody. However I still can't find the integration with Google Drive. How to configure it? (Skydrive + Dropbox work by the way ;))

Does what it promises well. Only issue I've had is deleting photos/videos, I couldn't figure out how to do that from within the app itself, so I had to go to the gallery and do it there.

It's a good app. Very creative. But.. Have to open app to view gallery. Should have the ability to view pictures full screen when you're in the gallery, but it feels like looking at the small lcd on an actual camera, please fix. Loading screens all the time kinda annoying.
