Description of Google Translate
With Google Translate you can:
• Translate text between 65 languages
• Translate by speaking the text instead of typing it (17 languages)
• Use camera to take a picture and brush text to translate (available on Android 2.3 and above).
• Listen to your translations spoken aloud (40 languages)
• Communicate with another person using speech-to-speech translation in Conversation Mode (ALPHA, 14 languages)
• Display translations in full screen mode to make it easier for others nearby to read
• Star your favorite translations for quick access even when you’re offline
• Access your translation history even when you’re offline
• Spell out the translation of non-Latin script languages (e.g. Chinese, Japanese, etc..) in Latin characters to read it phonetically (e.g. Pinyin, Romaji)
• View additional dictionary results for single words or short phrases
• Push the handwriting button and simply write what you want to translate
Translations between the following languages are supported:

This thing is great. I just met a beautiful French girl with a limited English vocabulary but with this app, we can carry out conversations night and day with no miscommunications. Plus this application is just fun!

This app really impresses me. I find the ability to quickly swap languages very helpful. Also it gives you the chance to read and edit phrases before playing them, this helps on the rare occasions when it doesn't translate my voice correctly. High praise to the developers.

Love the photo translation for Chinese, Japanese and Korean! Very useful. There used to be another Google app that compared photos to places. I tried using that for Chinese OCR but it did not work well. This app is working well so far! Thanks!!

More a 4.5 but a couple-3 things I'd like: 1.) A way to favorite a voice translation, 2.) Option to have a male voice, and 3.) A way to slow down the translation. Otherwise very good and very useful.

I really like the translation on most languages, but I've started learning japanese and it seems the conjugation on the app is way OFF!, please fix and I will change my rating to 5.

I speak "some Spanish" but can't understand, & have some patients & employees in the same situation. This app is fast enough to help us when we need it, AND it's accurate, which is saying a lot. Except for some idiomatic words, like window sills, it hasn't missed yet; t's even fast enough to get my voice entries! Perfect for me! THANK YOU!

This app is very useful indeed. However, I hope that they will modify it in such a way that it is easier to use. E.g. Japanese words should be included along with the symbols. Pls modify it. Sometimes, the speaker doesn't pick up the right words too...but it's still a good app =)

Great app.. but please write the translation in english alphabet because we cannot understand the meaning when it translate in chinese character etc... and we cannot read it...
