With this player, you can easily add music and video to your PlayQ and playlists from any folder, and you can also create your own folder in the list. It's a really great customizable tool to help you manage and display your music and video. Whatever control you want can be available here!

Convenient gestures to control.
Advanced media folder settings, you can set including and excluding folders -- in ANY DEPTH. Not only one level under /sdcard now.
PlayQ rather than playlists, can handle videos, musics, and their MIXTURE. Also, you can put a folder, an artist, an album or like that into a PlayQ.

Great & excellent Nov 13, 2012
Excellent playlist management feature! Good "integrate to lock screen" feature. Can play majority audio files including FLAC. Good basic-general music player features. Doesn't spends many resources.

I found this app by accident after flashing a custom ROM to an old Android phone, the stock media player for the ROM was Meridian, I used it and thought it was awesome, although a little glitchy at the time. However, many months have passed and updates have been released, since then I've installed it on every Android device I own, including my Nexus 7, because its that good... And free, the paid features are all things only certain people need, and that is how it should be done. So 5 stars all the way!

Does this program purposely revert to playing a track you were playing a 1/2 hour ago just for fun? And is unable to keep your place in a directory as an added bonus?

I had some movies on a micro sd card I wanted to watch on my Xperia t, would not play on just the phone, tried a couple of apps but unsuccessful. Nearly gave up but then found this app. Works perfectly. So happy I found this. If you want to play files of any kind on your android phone then get this app, it's w must.

Highly recommended app - works very well. Can't work out how to re-order the list of media files (eg by name vs creation date vs size, etc). Either I'm missing it or it can't be done, which is annoying. Giving it 4.9 stars (rounded up to 5).
