Description of RealCalc Plus
RealCalc Plus is the enhanced version of Android's #1 Scientific Calculator, RealCalc - a fully featured scientific calculator which looks and operates like the real thing.
RealCalc Plus includes the following features:
* Traditional algebraic or RPN operation
* Fraction calculations and conversion to/from decimal
* Degrees/minutes/seconds calculations and conversion
* Result history
* User-customizable unit conversions
* User-customizable constants
* Percentages
* 10 memories
* Binary, octal, and hexadecimal (can be enabled in Settings)
* Trig functions in degrees, radians or grads
* Scientific, engineering and fixed-point display modes
* Landscape mode
* Configurable digit grouping and decimal point
* Full built-in help
FAQ:
* If you want data size conversions in multiples of 1024, use kibibytes, mebibytes, gibibytes, etc - see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibibyte.
* If the percent key appears to give wrong answers, make sure you are pressing '=' at the end, e.g. '25 + 10 % =' will give 27.5.
* If sin/cos/tan functions don't give the answer you are expecting, make sure you are in the correct angle mode. Degrees, radians and grads are supported, indicated by DEG, RAD, GRAD in the display. Use the DRG key to change mode.
* If any of the digit keys are disabled, or the decimal point doesn't work, or you have answers with letters in, or basic arithmetic appears to be wrong, then you are in binary, octal or hexadecimal mode. Press DEC to return to decimal operation. If you don't need these modes, please make sure that 'Enable Radix Modes' is disabled in the settings.
* If you can't find HEX, BIN or OCT modes, go to the settings and make sure that 'Enable Radix Modes' is checked.

I've been using this for 6 months now and love it. Conversions are greatand I like the RPN. I also like being able to see the whole stack and select any one of them.. everything I need in a calculator. Thanks.

I had the free app for a while. This is one of the few apps I upgraded to pay. The one thing I need: a way to do logn - I need log2 a lot, and at times log3 would be useful.

Works well even on my rooted Nook Touch, although it'd be even better if I could change the colors (by cfg file?) for better contrast and less button redraw.

This calculator is amazing. If u like math, use math frequently, or just need a better- than-stock calculator, this is worth all 350 pennies. Wont fully replace a graphing calculator, but 5 stars in its category.

I just wanted to find something better than the super bare-bones calculator that came by default. I didn't realise I'd end up going from a bb-gun to a 12-gauge. It does way more than I even remember how to do, so I'm confident this will be my last math app. :)

Excellent scientific calculator May 18, 2012
A great calculator reminiscent of the old Casio I had at school. Miles better than the default Android one. Even if you don't need the scientific functions there is still a useful and comprehensive unit conversion facility and 10 memories. The paid version has more functions such as fractions, but the free one is probably good enough for most users .

As a long time RPN-calculator fan, I love having this available in my pocket all the time. Love the stack, the RPN notation and the clean layout. Nice haptic feedback makes it feel almost like using the "real" thing.

Brilliant. Gone is the text above the display window so now the keypad has more space. Also there appears to be shorter lag between keying and entries appearing in display.
